Design Build Solutions (ACL Design Build Solutions Limited, "DBS", "we") operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect through it, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to send us. There are two forms on this site:

• Contact form - your name, email address and the message you write.
• Trade partner form - your company name, contact name, email address, phone number, the trade or service you provide, and your answers about WCB standing and general liability insurance.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information such as financial account details, health information or government identification numbers through these forms.

How the forms work

At present both forms work by opening a pre-filled message in your own email program when you press submit. Nothing is transmitted to us until you send that message yourself, and the information is not stored on this website or passed through any third-party form service. Your message arrives in the DBS inbox, which is hosted on Microsoft 365.

Why we use it

We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry, to assess trade partner applications, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Because the forms hand off to your own email program, your enquiry reaches us by email and is held in our Microsoft 365 mailboxes. We do not pass it to any other third party.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not track visitors across other websites. If we add analytics in future we will update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and trade partner correspondence for as long as needed for the business relationship and any related record-keeping obligations, then delete it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@designbuildsolutions.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to enquiry correspondence to the people at DBS who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential material through the forms.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information through this site, we will update this page and the date above.
